Introduction
These Terms of Service apply to bookings, classes, orders and use of the Asmara Bella website and restaurant at 37 Port Street, Manchester M1 2EQ. By making a reservation, booking a class, placing an order or otherwise using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they are here to keep things fair and clear for everyone.
Reservations & Bookings
We do our best to honour every reservation. So that we can welcome all our guests, tables are held for 15 minutes past the booked time. If you are running late, please call us on 0161 460 6773 and we will hold your table where we can; otherwise it may be released to other guests.
For larger groups we may ask for a deposit or pre-order to secure the booking. Any deposit will be confirmed with you in advance and is normally deducted from your final bill on the day.
Cancellations
Plans change, and that is fine — we simply ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or amend a reservation. This allows us to offer the table to someone else. For bookings that involve a deposit, cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, may result in the deposit being retained.
Cooking Classes
We offer Coffee Ceremony, Cooking and Combo classes, available Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 2:00pm.
- Coffee classes can be booked on the same day, subject to availability.
- Cooking and Combo classes require at least 1 day's advance notice so that we can prepare fresh ingredients for you.
Class places are limited. If you need to cancel a class, please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer your place to another guest.
Allergies & Dietary Requirements
Your safety matters to us. Please inform our staff of any allergies or dietary requirements when you book and again when you arrive. While we take great care, our dishes are prepared in a kitchen that handles many ingredients, and they may contain or come into contact with gluten, nuts, dairy and other allergens. We cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from a particular allergen, so please speak to us and we will guide you to suitable choices.
Click & Collect Orders
Click & Collect orders are prepared fresh for your chosen collection time at 37 Port Street. Please collect your order promptly so it is enjoyed at its best. If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. We reserve the right to decline or refund an order where we are unable to fulfil it.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers can be redeemed against dining, classes and selected experiences at Asmara Bella. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Please present your voucher at the time of booking or payment. Any expiry date will be shown on the voucher.
Pricing
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We aim to keep prices accurate at all times, but they may change without notice. The price that applies is the one in effect at the time of your order or booking. A discretionary service charge may be added to larger tables, which is always optional.
Liability
We take great care in everything we serve and do. To the extent permitted by law, Asmara Bella is not liable for any indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from the use of our website or services. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under UK law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
